In 2025, only 15 states officially sanction girl’s flag football as a high school varsity sport. That felt like a stat right out of the 1980’s. So we used the Super Bowl, and some of the most badass girls around the world moving the game forward, to push those other 37 states to get the game in their schools. A year later, two more states officially sanctioned girls flag with many more running pilot programs to review adoption.
